What is round, metal & deals with art & techology?
It's called "swarm" (created by the orb swarm team)...They've created metal spheres that move autonomously on their own, while knowing where they are & where to go next...
Basically they are: Mechanical-Kinetic sculptures.
So what about the art part?

The swarm orbs were tested in New Orleans, November 13th for the American Anthropological Association conference. (That was the result!)
There wasn't a real reason why this was made...The team simply said:
"What can we create that's challenging & creative?"
This is so beautiful, a completely different kind of art. very nice!!
